What is the Hike to End Hunger?

The Hike to End Hunger is a 15-mile statewide hiking challenge and a Denver-based one-mile community solidarity hike & gathering at Berkeley Lake Park. Participants can take on one or both parts of the challenge.

The cumulative 15-mile hiking challenge can be completed anywhere in Colorado throughout the month of May. This can either be an individual or team challenge to hike 15 or more miles in support of food justice and to raise funds for Hunger Free Colorado‘s efforts to end hunger.

This year, the one-mile community solidarity hike will be held on June 8th, 2024 at Berkeley Lake Park in Denver to demonstrate community support for more equitable access to nutritious food for all Coloradans. This will be a family-friendly event with food, games, music and activities.

Join hundreds of Coloradans who are hitting the trails this May to show their support for Hunger Free Colorado and food justice!
